UFO Cowtcher
Inputs: WASD to move, Left Click to interact, Esc to Pause
Overview:
UFO Cowtcher is a top down hyper-casual mobile game that blends 2D sprites with 3D low-poly environment assets.
The goal of the game is to abduct as many cows as possible playing as a UFO that will catch them in order to refill the fuel and obtain the highest score possible.
Moreover, the player will be able to collect the different species of cows and to check them through a special catalogue called Cowdex.
The game is inspired by the classic UFO Catcher machine.
My Role in this game:
As a Game Designer I was involved in every process of the development in the game. In detail:
- I have been active part of the ideation session, the prototyping and the testing phases
- I managed every group session in order to reach the expected results in each meeting
- I wrote the documentation and updated it through the most common Game Design standards
As a group project, my tasks were shared with my colleagues Francesco Brancato and Simone Marzeddu (Game Designers) and Andrea Buzzi and Gabriele Ferilli (Game Programmers).
Note: Since the game has been developed as a Mobile Game, in this version I have tried to replicate the same experience bringing the same form factor but adding also keyboard inputs for an easier gameplay experience through PC Desktop.
